Viva la Mexico! To say that Maharani Sarayu’s big fat Indian bash in Cancun was amazing is an understatement. It was a blockbuster event of epic proportions. Everything from the phenomenal challenge of planning an event all the way in Mexico for Sonal J Shah Events to the artistry work of mehndi expert Veronica de la Paz, I would have to say that this destination Indian wedding was a huge success! The Villa del Palmar Cancun truly is a one stop shot for your wedding needs. All the pre-celebration events, to a beachside wedding to a party hosted in one of the gorgeous reception venues, Villa de Palmar has become one of the most popular locations in Mexico to host a South Asian Indian wedding. Styling Trio Riviera Maya was back on the MUA duties with their magical blush brush. Exchanging her up do for soft, cascading curls against an imperial blue and black wedding lengha choli, this Maharani just gleamed on the moonlit Mexican waters. Latin Asia decked out a venue with floral and decor fit for a large South Asian wedding with the talented duo, DJ Raj Entertainment with DJ Amlan flying in all the way from New Jersey to smash out the dance floor with the latest hits. Indian food has become a staple in Mexico with Taj Mahal helming the catering industry for providing fine Indian cuisine at luxurious Bollywood events. Missing in action on the dance floor was the couple’s cute dog, Poe. But, no worries there, Zaida Marcos Sweet Boutique figured out a way for a pup to be there in spirit! Owner Zaida, crafted a cake topper that I have to say has to be my favorite of all time. The couple, adorned by their pup, looked just as regal on the cake topper as they did in person!
