Okay, somebody seriously needs to give this couple an award for coordinating their outfits so perfectly! For the Gujarati ceremony at Rockleigh Country Club, these two synced in festive white and crimson red ensembles. Sima donned ornate white separates topped off with a tulle embroidered dupatta, and Peter paired his embroidered white sherwani with a velvet burgundy dupatta and silk bottoms. Peter looked adorable in his pearl white mojaris! Elegant Affairs centered the decor around damask prints, and the aisle was adorned with dull gold column cutouts that held white and pink blooms. The massive stage backdrop consisted of three blush pink carved wooden panels, also in a damask design, resulting in a gorgeous arch that was festooned with a plethora of pastel peonies. The false ceiling and multiple chandeliers at Rockleigh Country Club’s false lent a grandiose feel. This multi-purpose venue worked perfectly because the couple simply moved the party outdoors for their Christian ceremony! Kudos to Sonal J Shah for orchestrating this wonderful event. The outdoor altar looked like a mini Palace of Fine Arts backdrop, adorned with white orchid stems in the back, and square paper lanterns made for excellent vases. “For some reason, our Christian ceremony felt like something out of a movie. It was wonderful being outdoors”, proclaimed Sima. She looked like a princess in her lacy beaded white gown, half of her hair swept up with lots of big curls, and a champagne smokey eye courtesy of Cinderella Bridez. Meet us in the final segment of this fusion extravaganza, where together, we can boogie from our seats while reliving Sima and Peter’s reception!
