I am falling in love with this wedding.  From their Christian ceremony, to the details from their Mehndi and Sangeet, this is one wedding where the labor of love definitely comes through.

A bit more from the bride : My mom and her sisters played a big part in helping me plan the Sikh wedding and all the festivities that went on during that week, including the ladies sangeet, the maiya, choora, and mehndi ceremony. My wedding was a family affair, everyone from my aunts to my cousins and family friends had a part in the week long wedding celebration. My mother in law and her sisters decorated the church which looked spectacular and they made sure everything ran smoothly the day of the Christian ceremony.

The Sikh wedding ceremony is called Anand Karaj and the words literally translate into 'Blissful Union".  The photographer of the day, Shandro photography has given us dreamy images to capture this "blissful day."

Isn't that necklace amazing?! Before we say good-bye for the weekend, I wanted to let everyone know that we have been getting some drop dead gorgeous submissions for our September inspiration board contest. Make sure that you take a few moments out this weekend to put together your fantasy wedding day attire.  Keep the entries comin!
