Happy Monday everyone! Over the weekend, I returned from an action packed trip to Delhi to my two favorite things...my husband & my puppy! I have been busy compiling all the data from our first Maharani Weddings trip to India, and I can’t wait to share all the juice deets just as soon as I am over my jet lag. In the meantime, I do have a bit of a teaser for all of you. One of the hottest trends we saw in Dehli is that everyone is all about cuffs over there. Hip, 20 somethings, would sport this wrist candy to clubs, restaurants, & weddings in all shapes, colors, and sizes while wearing Indian and western clothes. I know that a piece this versatile would easily make the most absolutely perfect bridesmaid’s gift.
These chunky accessories easily stand out against any sari or lengha, and definitely add a trendy twist to Indian attire. We are NOT talking about napkin ring looking bracelets. We are talking about ornate, semi-precious gem incrusted pieces that come in every color that you could play holi with. We found amazing pieces at amazing prices in Dehli’s Khan market shopping district, but if that is a little too far to travel here are some others we loved online.
Row 1 : GS Lillian Floral Cuff piperlime.com, Laura Matthews Designs Diagonal Rhrinestone Cuff couturecandy.com, Monument wooden bangle bananarepublic.com
Row 2 : Ben-Amun Gold Coral Colored Stone Cuff maxandchole.com, House of Harlow 14KYG Plated Peacock Cuff otte.com, Reina Filligree Cuff couturecandy.com
Row 3 : Nordstrom Floral Filigree Cuff Bracelet nordstrom.com, Alexis Bittar Secret Garden Hinge Bracelet/Gold, ABS turquoise cuff bloomingdales.com
I just love how seamlessly these pieces can move from kurthis to cocktails or lenghas to lunches. Now the only trouble is deciding which one to pick!
