I just can’t stop staring at this beautiful bride. Seriously, I have never seen ANYONE rock a tikka like she did for her wedding, and she looks stylish and comfortable. Go Amy! With a dream team of DC Indian wedding vendors, Partyland Events and Décor, Working Brides, and Love Life Images, it is no surprise this Indian fusion wedding was totally, utterly, perfectly, delightful. All the Indian details were creatively calculated to bring the bride and groom’s signature look to their unique Indian wedding. From start to finish, this one's darling!
Our table numbers at the reception were actually table cities of all the cities my husband and I travelled to. He took all the pictures, so we used his photography for the decor. The invitation design was important to my husband and he had one his groomsmen custom design our logos and invitations in Rani Pink. The wedding stationary is Indian looking but has two dachshunds (representing out two dogs) as well as other symbols meaningful to us hidden in the design. My best friend Jenna Marfori of the blog Eat, Drink, Pretty designed my dessert table. The only thing I told herwas that I was inspired by peacocks (another beautiful elements). My in-laws planned the Sangeet decor so that was more or less a surprise to me. It turned out wonderful. One of the best parts of the wedding(in addition to marrying my husband of course!) was that my bridesmaids performed an Indian dance at my Sangeet. What wonderful memories!
Congratulations to the gorgeous couple! See you tomorrow!
