It’s been a really fabulous week on Maharani Weddings and we are prepared to go out with a bang. Our Facebook community has been jabbering about yesterday’s floral bridal lengha and I know that today’s red, ball gown style, reception lengha going to cause just as much chatter. So stunning this red bridal lengha is the perfect blend of east meets west style with a dash of come-hither appeal. The bride is every essence of Maharani and Suzanne Taussig Weddings & Events put together a seamless color palette of red and gold to make her seem larger than life.
From the lovely Suzanne of Suzanne Taussig Weddings & Events :
If the old saying that "rain on your wedding day is symbolic of all the tears that you'll never shed in your marriage" is true, then this Arizona destination bride and groom will live happily ever after back home in New York City. Bride Pooja and groom Chetan, both healthcare professionals from New York City, were married in traditional Eastern Indian fanfare in what transpired to be the coldest and most rainy day ever recorded in April in Arizona's Sonoran Desert. The event, held at the lush grounds of the JW Marriot Resort & Spa, was the perfect venue for such an event rain or shine. The groom's family must have brought some luck to the traditional Barat wedding parade, because as soon as Chetan saddled up on gorgeous horse Gracie, the rain stopped long enough to keep him dry and happy as his NY crowd and traditional Indian dholi drums led the way to the ceremony. The wedding, planned and designed by SuzanneTaussig Wedding & Event Design of Scottsdale, Arizona, was brilliantly captured by Sameer Soorma, an expert in Indian wedding photography. Amazing bride Pooja wore the epitome of Indian wedding attire custom made for her in India. Once the festivities started, no one cared about the rain or the cold, everyone was just happy, dancing and well-fed.
Big thank you to Suzanne Taussig Weddings & Events and Sameer Sorma Photography for this beautiful submission!
