Arizona Indian Wedding by Sameer Soorma Photography

If I took Barbie & Ken, and dressed them up in Indian attire then this is exactly what they would look like in real life.  They look absolutely picture perfect not only when they strike a pose for the camera, but even while they are dancing the night away! Sameer Soorma did an excellent job capturing all the fun antics and crazy moments at this gorgeous Arizona reception.  Speaking of fun, I love this Maharani's bouncy and fun curls that add such a girly-girl touch to her look.  A Maharani tip about curls: to make them look especially great for all of your photos and bhangra proof, don't be shy when using your hairspray. (I swear by anti-humidity hairspray!)  It will hold your style in place and keep the curls out of your face too, so your pictures will be totally, utterly breathtaking!

With the smile, these two lovebirds put on my face, I must say: what a great way to end the day!
Congratulations to Courtney and Arun!

South Indian Fusion Wedding Ceremony by Sameer Soorma

This very warm and touching South Indian fusion wedding ceremony by Sameer Soorma Photography is just awe-inspiring. This ceremony was about bringing not only two people together, but two families and cultures as well.  I just can't stop staring at the image of the mother of the bride and the mother of the groom sitting together.  There is so much love, just one look at their faces and you can see all the emotions a mother feels watching her precious child get married.  And if that doesn't start the water works, grab a tissue, because when you see the groom's mum hug her new daughter they are bound to start!

Did you notice how this Maharani's father is just beaming with joy? After such a heart-felt ceremony, it's time to get the party started.  Be right back with the celebrations!

Phoenix South Indian Fusion Wedding by Sameer Soorma

Before we get to the ceremony, here is a very special sneak peak!  I am full of oooohhhs and aaaaahhhs over this bridal party.  Her bridesmaids look fabulous in that striking color of sapphire blue, which complements her magenta pink sari with blue border so well.  As if the women didn't look fabulous enough, the little pink flower, with her teased hair, is the perfect Maharani icing on the cake.  And, what a dashingly handsome Maharaja in my favorite color sherwani - royal blue! So elegant and avant garde, this stylish couple has stolen our hearts. Everything about these photos by Sameer Soorma, from the violinist to the bridal party is classy, gorgeous and absolutely perfect!

Meet me back here in a jiffy! This is one wedding ceremony you don't want to miss!

Arizona Fusion Wedding by Sameer Soorma Photography

Today's Arizona South Indian fusion wedding will take your breath away.  I simply just cannot get over how gorgeous this bride looks on her wedding day.  She brings such classic Western beauty to South Indian culture and totally rocks it!  Sameer Soorma Photography did an absolutely wonderful job capturing her Maharani smile, that special bridal glow, and that sparkle in in her eyes while she was primping for the big day.   As if this bride hadn't already stolen my heart, the second I saw the way her mom looks at her with the exact same sparkle brought tears to my eyes.  Inner beauty must run in the family!

Stay right there, because what's coming up: the bridal glow gets taken to a whole new level...
Hint: enter her Maharaja and bridesmaids!
