And we have finally arrived at our big finale! This entire wedding has been about the details, both big and small, and the reception was no different! Let's first begin with the tiny details on Maharani Shavreen's cream and dark blue colored reception lengha. There's just so much work on there that I don't know where to look first, but I do know that I absolutely love the outfit, not to mention those shimmering gold heels! The two signs that say "Mr. Gill" and "Mrs.Gill," the navy blue and yellow accented pillows and the cupcakes that spell out Rajeev and Shavreen's name are just sensational. These tiny details give a glimpse into our happy couple's personalities, giving off a much more intimate feeling at the event.

From the bride:
The wedding was a traditional four day event with a western flair.  Growing up with a strong Punjabi background but being a true All American Girl, I wanted to incorporate both my indian and american cultures.  I also wanted to make sure my family's wishes of following all traditions were answered while adding a bit of my personal touch.  Thus, I added my personal touch by incorporating a shabby chic theme into a traditional wedding and did so with burlap banners, fun flowers such as daisies and carnations, milk vases and mason jars.  The colors for the wedding ceremony were traditional red with a pop of aqua.  The reception colors were blue and gold because my husband is a CAL alumni and I am a UCLA alumni.  We both love our blue & gold and wanted to incorporate it into our wedding weekend.  It was definitely a difficult task since our wedding was an 800+ person affair but my vendors were amazing in every step of the process.  A unique touch I added to my wedding was by honoring my dad, whom we lost to cancer 7 years ago, by having a memorial charm tile dangle from my bouquet.  All in all, the pictures capture the wedding best: Colorful, Vibrant, Loving Family & Friends, Fantastic Food & Pure Happiness!

Congratulations to the happy couple! See you tomorrow Maharanis!
