It was an emotional farewell vidaii from her family, but the bittersweet moment doesn't last too long. With a change of wardrobe, Mr. and Mrs. Patel make a grand entrance into the Double Tree Austin. The hotel's ballroom has been fitted with a dramatic altar made to sit royalty, and flourishes of blue, purple and green tie the party's theme together. I love the Maharani's nighttime reception look: her ocean blue lengha is accented beautifully with the orchids in her hair, while Singar Studio does a fab job of creating a smokey blue eye to bring out her alluring peepers.
According to Biyani Photography, the evening was full of dancing, rejoicing and frolicking. Even the little ones got in on the action; and the oldies didn’t stay too far behind either. The couple's families performed hilarious song and dance numbers, and there's no denying that our Maharani shook her groove thing on the dance floor!

We say goodbye to these lovebirds as we head into another day of fab Indian weddings tomorrow. We'll see you in the morning, Maharanis!
