West Palm Beach, Florida Indian Wedding by Jose Ortiz Films

We have a three-parter Filmy Friday for you today. First we watched a gorgeous Indian wedding from New Jersey, and now we head down the coast to attend a Florida affair! Jose Ortiz Films takes us on a short, yet powerful journey filled with emotional speeches -- I'd be lying if I said I didn't choke up a couple times there! I love the intimacy of the piece, especially the groom's recital of his engagement proposal:
"I've actually tried to propose to you three times already, and they've been an epic failure. The reason why I say that is because I know you want things to be very extravagant; very big. But sometimes things can be perfect when they're simple too. I don't want to waste any more opportunities. I love you. I respect you. Suniya...will you be my wife?"
From the proposal, you'd expect a modest affair. But let me tell you Maharanis, Suniya and Jawad didn't hold back for their Indian wedding! Through your tears, make sure to take note Maharani Suniya's beautiful outfit changes (including her sister's *stunning* head jewelry), palanquin and elaborate wedding altar!

Next up, we'll meet you in Hawaii for today's final Filmy Friday wedding flick!

Honolulu, Hawaii Indian Wedding by IMF Visions

Aloha Hawaii! Our final Indian wedding vid takes us to Waikiki for the nuptials of Maharani Dhwipa and hubby Nirav. As you would probably guess, an Indian wedding on the islands is never anything short of ah-maz-ing. Set to an island cover of Rihanna's "We Found Love," IMF Visions introduces us to our groom and his enigmatic Maharani. I don't know what it is about this lady, but in a little more than seven minutes, I fell in love with her sassy, care-free attitude, too!
I usually get a little antsy when wedding videos run more than a few minutes, but I relished watching every moment of this union gorgeously planned by Mira Savera Events. Pay extra close to our Maharani's makeup during the ceremony -- the light pink eyeshadow and pale lips just looks lovely on her complexion!

If you missed any of the Indian wedding lovelyness this week, here are a few of my favorite posts:
A Maharani with her beautiful bridesmaids (and some little ones, too!)
A bright and bold garba celebration.
A modern emerald reception lengha with a classic updo!
And, to make your Friday fly by, here are some fun links from around the web :
Congrats to my friends at Snippet & Ink on their new look.

Parsippany, New Jersey Indian Wedding by KSD Weddings

Maharanis! It's time for another installment of Filmy Fridays, where we show you the latest and greatest in Indian wedding cinematography. Today's first feature is a festive affair at the Hilton Parsippany in New Jersey. Beautifully executed by All Event Decorators, this multi-cultural event features participants from several ethnicities, making it a true fusion Indian wedding. The dancing is infectious and seems nonstop during this union between Maharani Rina and groom Vaibhav. But to me, what makes this Indian wedding video extra special is how the expert cinematographers at KSD Weddings mix different types of slow and quick pans to compliment the fast, catchy beats of the music...such a visual and aural treat!

Later today, I'll show you one of my one of my favorite, spunkiest Maharanis ever!
