If this isn't an Indian wedding reception made for a true Maharani, I don't know what is. Our bride Shivani enters into the dramatically lit National Building Museum, which has been transformed into a private playground with dancers and acrobats. She looks immaculate, like a 1930's Maharani, dressed in a dusty peach evening gown with hair curled and delicately pinned to the side of her head. Guests dined on food catered by Moghul Caterers, while CBArt Photography & Cinematography snapped pictures of the wedding speeches and the night's circus-themed entertainers.
A round of applause to everyone who made this breathtaking Indian wedding come into fruition, including D.C. reception planners Evoke! Though the parties are over, I've saved a special post for the end of the day: our bride's very emotional family send-off in India.
