For their big day, this doting duo opts for an exquisite fusion event that celebrates each of their cultures—love it! But before the main event, they choose to bask in the glow of this happiest of all days and pose for some super fun pics. Maharani Reena is entirely stunning in an unstoppable white gown embroidered with traditional details. I'm a huge fan of that delicate style! And how sweet is the mehndi on this Raja?! Henna For All definitely gets it right! James Anthony Floral & Event Design is putting the finishing touches on what is sure to be a lush and lavish ceremony, and until it starts, I'll be in the gallery!
From the bride: "I actually wore a "fusion" wedding gown, which I designed with the help of the internet and Madhu Munyal of Charms Couture. I did spend hours on the internet searching for a fusion gown, hoping that one already existed, but I really could not find anything in the US that fit the image I had in my head. I also knew that I didn't want to spend a lot of time on our wedding day changing in and out of outfits, so I wanted a gown that I could easily wear from the ceremony to reception, and perhaps change into a lighter dress towards the end of the night. Madhu brought the design with my choices of embroidery and and fabric to India, where the dress was then brought to life. There were some delays in the completion of the dress, and I didn't end up getting it until about 2 weeks before our wedding. Thank goodness it fit perfectly when it arrived!"
