Wow, how gorgeous is this venue?! I love the classy vibe that Anais Event Planning & Design created for Maharani Ayesha and Raja Umber! There is just so much I love about this royal affair, including the lavish floral centerpieces with elephant accents, the mehndi-inspired wedding cake, and a fun cocktail menu! This trendy duo opts for family-style service for their delicious cuisine rather than the usual buffet-style, which is an A+ idea. The bride says, "It's quite the fad at weddings in London these days. I hope it catches on here too!" (And so do I!) With all the makings of a perfect night, Naveed Ahmad Photography follows as these newlyweds glow in a state of pure bliss! Sigh, I'll be at the gallery! Meet me there, Maharanis!

From the bride: "Music and dancing play a huge role in both Umber and my life so we had put in a lot of effort with the DJ to develop the perfect dance floor mood. Some desi, some salsa, some hip hop, some arabic and some classics. It was worth the effort made as the dance floor was to capacity for three hours straight!

Our first dance was to an obscure song by The Divine Comedy called 'Perfect Lovesong'. The lyrics are...well...perfect, especially in relation to us. We also wanted a song that most likely had rarely been used before in a wedding setting. It was also the first song on the first CD mix that I made for Umber on his birthday (He is a bit obsessive when it comes to music so it had to be a perfect compilation). Finally, it worked out perfectly for a dance as the fox trot and box step worked easily with the song."

I just love hearing about those special love songs! Until next time, Maharanis!
