With a bright red lip and shimmery gold shadow, Maharani Megha is ready for her big day! While Make Up by Mala ensures her mehndi is top-tier perfection, Photographick Studios is by her side snapping delightful pics. Soon enough, this bridal beauty is cozying up to her Raja for beautiful outdoor portraits and they couldn't be more adorable. And I am a huge fan of incorporating teal into the traditional red and gold color palette—such a uniquely pretty touch! I can't wait to see what's in store at the ceremony styled by Design House Decor and Project Bride DC—if their photos are this sweet, their mandap must be a dream! Soon enough we'll be at the reception with a menu by Catering by Rasoi and a luminous dance floor by Raaz Entertainment. Until then, I'll be in the gallery!
From the bride, on her bridal fashions, hair and makeup, jewelry, and mehndi: "I searched a few showrooms online that are in Bombay. I knew that was going to be our first step so I tried to do research ahead of time. I wanted the traditional red and gold, but also with some white and teal as well. I wanted something that was different but still traditional as well.
The second I saw my dress, I knew it was the one (as did everyone else in the showroom).
I did a lot of research on Pinterest before finalizing my hairstyles. I had multiple events prior to the wedding and I wanted to do something different for everyone. However, I did have trials before the wedding as well to make sure that it was perfect. I have to be honest though—my makeup ideas and hairstyles were all found on Pinterest.
Also—my jewelry was picked out to match my outfit personally, and one of my dearest friends also had bangles made for me that had both my name and my husband's name engraved on them, which I also wore as a part of the set.
My mehendi designs had a groom on one hand and a bride on the other hand."
Fabulous! See you at the ceremony, Maharanis!
