From the bride: "When I first sat down to plan my wedding, I had a million ideas. Luckily, since in the Pakistani culture, a wedding is comprised of three days (Mehndi, Barat, Walima), I had plenty of space to express my creativity. One of the themes that I knew I wanted right away was that I wanted the Mehndi to be lively, colorful, and bright, the Baraat to be more elegant with lots of whites, reds, and golds and lastly for the Walima I thought it would be appropriate to make that the most formal event.

What I enjoyed most about the process of planning my wedding was the excitement of it all. Everyone around me including my family and friends were so happy for me and everyone wanted to know even the smallest of details about what I was planning. Every day was an adventure... one day I would be working on creating the perfect wedding lengha, the next day would be all about flowers and color schemes, and then the next would focus on food and menu items. There never was a dull moment."

This beaming beauty has to switch up her look for the nikkah! See you at the next event!
