Can I take a moment and express how much I love this wedding event? Okay, I might need more than a moment because this has fabulousness written all over it! This "sha-mila" (a combination of a shaadi and walima) unites every bit of glamour with a whole lot of love, making this Pakistani ceremony and celebration a total win! Maharani Sana is a true gem as she lights up the room with a perfect pout thanks to Dolled up by Lulu while Samson Productions is on hand to capture every moment from the sweet nuptials to the first dance to cake-cutting and it's all worth a thousand words! See for yourself at the gallery!
From the bride, on her reception style: "I knew I wanted my wedding to be elegant, modern, yet still represent our heritage. I began to Pinterest my life away for some inspiration. I came across a mandap that caught my eye. It was very traditional and had a vibrant Mughal feel to it. However, I did not want it to be completely geared towards one direction. I then remembered earlier coming across a website for a hotel in India that was inspired by Mughal architecture, but it had a very classy-chic twist to it... which was exactly what I was looking for. We met up with our decorator and brainstormed a design that was "Modern-Mughal". We pulled the colors from my wedding dress, primarily going with champagne and plum with a pop of red."
I hope you loved this lavish love affair as just as me! I'll catch ya tomorrow, Maharanis!
