Welcome to a world of international beauty, Maharanis! Grab your bags and come with me to Vijayawada, India, where our bride is showing off her spectacular mehndi (it stretches all the way from her fingertips for five-star fabulousness!). And, can we just take a moment to peep this breathtaking view? Wow! Paradise found! Also, I think these sparkling peacock-inspired sandals are some of my fave ever. Geoff Duncan Photography is definitely bringing us up close to the glam and I couldn't be more excited! Once her henna is dry, this beauty is ready for more festive fun while friends and family help celebrate this remarkable event. Soon enough her skin is newly aglow and it's time to meet up with her Raja for a portrait sesh! Don't forget to check out the full collection in the gallery!
From the bride:
"When I came to study at FSU, I contacted the Indian Students Association here and she was to pick me up. But instead as she was busy at work, asked her friend (my now husband) to pick up and drop me off at her house. It is very funny now when we think about it because we are both from the same city in India and our houses are less than 3 miles away. And we have many common friends. But never knew of each other's existence. And he is the first person I met half way around the world.
It wasn't in a day. We were just friends for a couple of years. We soon became good friends as our tastes and opinions matched and also we had a lot in common like what we wanted to do with life. We eventually fell in Love and somehow we both knew we belonged together."
On what she enjoyed most about the planning process:
"Sangeeth. This was the part I enjoyed the most because everyday all my friends and family would get together and it was so much fun and laughter."
What an absolute treat! Come right back, darlings!
