What a scene! When I saw these phenomenal pics of our bride parading down the promenade in a radiant doli, I had to catch my breath. This is truly a magical entrance worthy of a princess! The lights are twinkling, the cameras of Geoff Duncan Photography are snapping away, and our sweet couple is ready to tie the knot in a grand ceremony surrounded by plenty of love! I am so delighted by all the unstoppable smiles happening here; it's most definitely a Maharani moment to remember! After our sweethearts say "I do," it's time for an outfit change and another set of true love portraits. See you in the gallery!
From the bride:
"The central theme of my wedding was the color gold. It started with my wedding sari and everything was designed based upon that color. I kind of had a vague picture of how my total wedding should be and also came up with ideas as I moved forward. My mother played the major role in getting everything perfect and she also has excellent taste."
On finding her bridal fashions:
"I spent a lot of time on the internet to get an idea of the current trends. But when it came to actually choosing it,I went around and spoke to many designers and stores and choose out of them. I did not stick with a particular designer or place."
On her hair and makeup:
"I already had a style in mind. Then, I worked with a specialist I in the US to get it right as the style was a little tricky. Once we got it right, I took a video on how to do it and got it done by a specialist in India."
On a special moment:
"When I was being carried into the mandap on a palenquin, I saw the whole place decorated to perfection, filled with family members and on the stage Vissu waiting for me. And I thought, if I could visualize every detail in my childhood marriage thoughts, this is how it would be and that is who will be waiting for me."
Up next our Maharani rocks a bright and beautiful sari!
