From the bride:

"Dinesh and I met at the birthday party of a mutual friend. That friend now owns a national chain of candy stores called Lolli and Pops. He helped create the most amazing candy display with massive lollipops, chocolate truffles and lots of sour gummy candy (my personal favorite). I had special bright gold containers for all the guests to fill and take home. I know candy bars are very popular but this one felt extra special coming from a friend that helped bring Dinesh and I together.

From the beginning it was important to both Dinesh and I that our wedding have a lot of details that reflected us. We really tried to be creative in incorporating these details while still keeping the event very formal. We had a lot of kids attending the wedding and so I created activity/coloring books for the Sangeet and reception. They told the story of us falling in love in San Francisco and then getting married in Boston. I think the adults loved it as much as the kids!
One of my favorite foods is french fries so we had a french fry bar during cocktail hour. It had four different types of fries along with 10 to12 toppings. It was a huge hit and the favorite food of the whole night.

Instead of a traditional wedding cake we ordered multiple cakes from our favorite bakery so we could have a cake bar and have all of our guests try all the flavors. Alongside that we had an ice cream sundae bar where I listed Dinesh and mine's favorite combinations. His was all about chocolate and mine was vanilla ice cream with olive oil and sea salt. I'm not sure how many people tried mine but they definitely noticed the olive oil alongside the chocolate syrup and sprinkles."

So fab! I'll see you tomorrow, darlings!
