From the bride, on how she met "the one":

"People talk about love at first sight but for us it was 'love at first type"… We met online and within a week of conversing decided we were meant to be together. Upon discovering the many mutual family ties we had, we concluded that our compatibility went deeper than just our personalities. During our engagement she shuffled our relationship between Chicago and Wisconsin with our parents being in Florida and Hyderabad. There is a common theory that we will all come in close proximity to our future partner at least six times before we actually meet. The previous five remain a mystery to us but our paths crossed just a few days before we started speaking to each other via the internet. In fact, we both had attended a concert in Chicago and are standing a stone throw away from each other. The ways of life are peculiar yet coincidences have always brought us together. Unbenounced to us our wedding date was fixed just a few day ahead of the anniversary of our first meeting. These serendipitous occurrences continued to prove that our alliance is not only one of love but fate as well."

On the proposal story:

"He didn't have to say a word, because when he pulled out that ring I knew what was coming! We're both really lucky, because though our journey has been a very traditional one we have been able to surprise each other with certain essential romantic gestures. The proposal was no exception to this and he swept me off my feet yet again."
