From the bride, on some magical moments:

"There are three things that stand out to me till now about my wedding day. First, being peeking out from the ballroom entrance and watching my fiancé and now husband land in his baraat and walk his way to the venue. There was this kind of adrenaline rush that I still cannot describe, I couldn't think about that I was about to be married and join a whole new world but all I could think was that I just wanted to be married to this man this minute and for the rest of my life.

Second, was the moment my parents performed the ritual of Kanyadaan. I never saw my father cry before that…

Third, I was fortunate to be able to wear a piece of jewelry that was a part of each of my grandmothers trousseau. As they passed away well before I was born, I never got a chance to interact with them. Wearing their possessions made me feel closer than ever to them."

On a wedding planning and a surprise for her Raja:

"I enjoyed the planning of the baraat the most… My husband landed into the Hurricane Bhangra team of UM in on a helicopter with his sister, brother-in-law and his nephew. This was originally a surprise to him… and later to the rest of the baraatis and guests. It became the highlight of our wedding!"

So sweet! The ravishing reception is up next!
