Bring on the gorgeous! Set in a grand mansion, this reception is completely glamorous, and I love every touch! Before the party gets going we're heading behind the scenes to glimpse a sneak peek of the cake, the centerpieces, and all the super spectacular decor. What a treat! As our sweethearts cozy up for some adorable portraits with KSD Weddings, I can't help but admire all the breathtaking details by Elegant Affairs Inc. Those flowers are lush, plush, and super luxe! I can't wait for the dancing to begin, so before it does I've to browse through the beauty in the gallery one more time!
From the bride, on friends and family helping out:
"We were both working up until the day before our wedding—we barely made it to City Hall in time! So we couldn't have gotten married without our family or friends. My best friend Brooke gifted us a ketubah—a hand-painted Jewish wedding contract. Nimesh's friends and bandmates made for an amazing baraat filled with drums and percussion that was just so magical to hear from upstairs in the bridal suite. We were very blessed to have been surrounded by such joyous support from all our family and friends."
On her makeup:
"My friend Lisa Rinaldi is great—I count on her for whenever I have any appearance or photoshoot."
On her bridal lengha:
"From the moment my mom suggested it, I knew I wanted to wear her wedding sharara."
On planning the event:
"Both Nimesh and I, along with our families, have a great love for music. Nimesh is a musician in two bands. My grandfather is also an accomplished musician. So yes, for us, one of the most special parts was planning and experiencing the music."
See you at the reception, dolls!
