Rise and shine, my loves! The Garden state is blooming with bliss as Maharani Mani gets the princess treatment on her big day! NYNJ Photography is behind the scenes as this perfect Punjabi pair share some sweet moments with friends and family before they head to the ceremony venue. I love that this blushing bride has hot pink and orange accents on her anarkali; they add a refreshing glam element to the otherwise traditional red lengha! Before this dream team heads off to get hitched, meet me at the gallery!
From the bride, on engagement memories:
"On our engagement ceremony, I was fed dinner by my then soon to be husband for the first time; which was a very romantic moment for me. We were both very shy but it was very cute! He always tells me that he loves me more, but that's okay cause I know it's all for me :)"
On her bridal style:
"I was so confused, I didn't even know what to wear. After the engagement I had 6 months until the wedding, those six months went by so fast and I had so many decisions to make. I did a lot of research on the internet to see what was in style. I knew from the beginning I didn't want to wear a lengha, so my final decision was an anarkali. I was a bit nervous cause I wasn't there to select it since my mom did all my shopping from India. I was relieved once I got to see it and try it on.
I wanted my hair and make up perfect so I was very picky selecting who I wanted. I worked with Sneha for my hair, and Shabana Choudary for my make up. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have them two by my side.
My mehndi was also done by Sneha, she was very patient and did an amazing job! All of my jewelry and outfits came from India. Thank God for Iphones, I was able to see everything that was being selected for me! For my bridal bouquet I worked with Jim from Clover Florist, he made the bouquet exactly how I wanted it."
I'll see ya at the ceremony, up next!
