At last, girlfriends, the wait is over! Feast your eyes on the spectacular fusion wedding reception photos all the way from Melbourne by Lahza Photography! I wish I could have been a guest at this function because the guests are clearly having a blast at the Encore St Kilda Sea Baths venue! And I am just gaga over the table-settings, done by Flower Jar! The floral & decor truly accentuates the garden theme the striking twosome was going for! What a delightful event from start to finish! I must relive the gallery experience one more time!
From the bride, on the invitations & stationery:
"We designed all our invitations and wedding stationery, including all graphic design, trims etc. Heinz designed an infographic about how we met, our story, and a little bit about our guests. We had them on the back of ceremony programs and menus at the reception."
On well wishes and the guestbook:
"I ordered a custom made recycled wooden crate from Etsy for our ‘wishing well’ and a personalised guestbook to go with our garden rustic theme. They worked out really well!"
On the drink station:
"My friends prepared and styled a beautiful drink and lolly station at the ceremony for the guests, with mason jars, striped straws, and beautiful lanterns hanging from the trees. It was a perfect added detail and allowed for our guests to mingle while we had our location photos taken."
On the table settings:
"Our florists did an amazing job of making our whimsical autumn garden theme come to life – there were brightly colored autumn leaves, moss on the tables, silver birch branches and logs, golden and silver mercury glass tea lights and bright explosions of all my favorite flowers in hundreds of jam jars and vases scattered throughout the tables. It was phenomenal!!!"
On the lighting:
"We loved the look of carnival marquee style letter lights at a couple of events we saw in the past and managed to find a local supplier and had our initials H & S at the event which we used at both our Gaye Holud and Wedding Reception. It added a real wow factor to both the events."
On the wedding favors:
"Some thing that we were both really looking forward to doing was creating special, meaningful wedding favors for the 250+ guests, but not breaking the bank! Heinz and I decided we needed to do something unique and represent our creativeness...so we decided to make our own blend of Masala Chai with real loose leaf black tea, cardamom, cinnamon and cloves, with a piece of Biscotti (reference to Heinz's Italian side). We had custom made Samantha & Heinz stamps made that matched with all our custom made stationary (place cards, menu cards, invitations etc we all designed ourselves too) and stamped these cream Indian muslin drawnstring bags and created a little tag saying 'Sam & Heinz's Best Masala Chai' with a recipe on the back. My team of cousins helped in the huge undertaking of creating 250+ masala chai bags, and the guests absolutely loved them!"
