The The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort and Spa is perfect for all sorts of wedding celebrations including this one, wonderfully designed by Celebrations Ltd. From a mehndi night on the beach to a lovely beachfront ceremony, this picturesque locale is on the top of my list for dream-come-true venues! This bride and groom unite with their bubbly bridal party for some wedding portraits! This is one stylish group of ladies and gents! The contrast between Maharani Anita's ravishing red bridal lengha and the marvelous mint bridemaids sarees is lovely. And who doesn't love a pop of pink? While Rebecca Davidson snaps all the best shots of this giddy gang, I'll be at the gallery!
From the bride, on her wedding style:
"I'm a big fan of the navy, sea foam green, coral/salmon, white & gold so that was the palette we started with. I saw some beautiful antique Indian paintings online and those became the inspiration for the invitations - and from there, for the wedding itself. Luckily, Indian weddings tend to have a lot of events to incorporate all of the ideas. We did a contemporary version of a set of trumpeting elephants for the invitations, and repeated the motif on the menus and decorations. For the Sangeet, Jon and I had always wanted to have a white party and we found the perfect venue in Cayman - a beach front restaurant that lived up to its name "Tiki Beach". For the Shaadi, we had a set of bridesmaid saris dyed sea foam green in India and matching scarves for the groomsmen. The girls carried salmon/fuchsia bouquets, and the Mandap was white, navy, and gold with touches of fuchsia. At the reception, we keep the navy from getting too dark by using it as an accent color."
