From fun in the sun to dancing in the moonlight, the Grand Cayman Islands has it all! These newlyweds are on cloud nine as they enter the reception hall at the The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort and Spa! (And so am I!) Celebrating your love at this island paradise is simply magical! I can almost hear the steel drummers as they play the perfect soundtrack for this Carribean wedding escape! Maharani Anita is a complete stunner in her perfect pink lengha and the first dance with her Raja is just too sweet. Can we talk about how awesome this ballroom looks?! Sometimes it's hard to get exactly what you want out of a destination wedding, but if Celebrations Ltd. is your planner, then you get top-notch glam! I love the peach, pink, and purple tones that create the most enchanting ambience. Visit the gallery and see all the action captured by Rebecca Davidson!
From the bride, on her reception lengha:
"The most important thing for my reception outfit was finding something that was comfortable, but still bridal. I wanted to be able to dance the night away and not be weighed down or in pain because of my outfit. In Delhi, I tried on a million lenghas. We were actually at a shop looking for normal party outfits, and I stumbled upon a beautiful lengha with embroidery made out of metallic fabric. It was light as a feather. We asked the designer to add a few more rhinestones, but it stayed super light. Perfect for the evening!"
On LOL moments:
"One of the most hilarious aspects of the wedding was that I lost my voice on the first day! A combination of the AC and humidity and my own big personality. It was a running joke of the wedding."
I hope you enjoyed that as much as I did, Maharanis! See you tomorrow!
