From the bride, on the romantic proposal:
"For the 4 years leading up to our wedding, Vindeep was in med school in California and I was in med school in Missouri. My 25th birthday was at the end of our 3rd year of school, and I was bummed that Vindeep wouldn't be able to fly out to celebrate with me. My sister, however, insisted on visiting me that weekend. When I got home from a birthday brunch with her and my roommates, Vindeep was there in my room dressed in a 3 piece suit with flower petals, candles, and balloons everywhere. I was completely surprised and ecstatic beyond belief! He had also collaborated with my roommates and sister to have my close friends over later that day to celebrate with us. We're pretty sure I never even said yes!"
