The bride on her groom's proposal:

"Beeran proposed while we were vacationing in Asia. It was our last night in Hong Kong, and he proposed to me after dinner, at a restaurant overlooking Hong Kong Island. It was a complete surprise! After we called our friends and family, we got to celebrate at the Ozone Bar in our hotel, which is the highest sky bar in the world!"

On choosing her lengha:

"Beeran's family, my family, Beeran, and I went to Mumbai together to go wedding shopping. We all fell in love with my Sabyasachi lengha the second I tried it on. Nothing else looked good after that! When we went back to purchase my lengha, we were told that Sabyasachi would be in the next day, so perhaps he could help coordinate Beeran's outfit with mine (Beeran hadn't liked anything he had tried on so far). The next day, Sabyasachi helped us choose the material for Beeran's outfit, the sari to hand-tie Beeran's safa/turban, and at the last minute, he picked out a blue shawl to tie the outfit together! We were so lucky to have his help."

Stick around for the ceremony, gals. It's coming up next!
