More from the bride:

"Having grown up as an Indian/European/American mix, I always knew I wanted to have a double wedding. Getting married in a white dress at a church was something I always wanted, but having a full Indian, Hindu ceremony was also equally, if not more important. I have always found something special about the melding of cultures, east and west, as it truly defines who I am and who we are as a couple. When I started to plan my own wedding, I knew it would be a magical experience, and the three day event was so extraordinary and unique. The Western wedding was orthodox and soft with a rustic, Hawaiian feel, while the Indian wedding and its occasions were bright, colorful and full of life and tradition. These days truly brought us back to India but with a beautiful, tropical, beach backdrop as our playground. Having grown up in Hawaii, it felt like a homecoming; everything finally came full circle, the merging of our lives, family and friends from all over the world. It was like a Bollywood movie staged in the islands, with an incredible story of love, life, family and happiness."

Enjoy the rest of your day, Maharanis! See you tomorrow!
