Happy October, dolls! Let's kick the new moth of right by journying to New Jersey for a Indian wedding, courtesy of Studio Nine Photography + Cinema. The bride all dolled-up by Makeup By Shaili, looks flaslesess! I am so excited to see the ceremony, amazingly planned by Sonal J. Shah Event Consultants. Check out the gallery!
From the bride, on how she met her groom-to-be:
"I officially met George during the very last class of the very last semester of my undergraduate education. Unofficially, we had met during the very first class of my very first semester, but did not speak again after that first encounter. There was no "fireworks" moment that made me think he was the one, I just knew."
On how he proposed:
"I do! George proposed to me in front of the Eiffel Tower after surprising me with a trip to Paris! He told me 2 nights before we were to leave on the trip that we were going and I should let my employers know that I would be out for a couple days. Little did I know he had already worked everything out with them and had everything planned for quite some time! The first thing I thought of when he told me about the trip was, 'Oh, maybe it's for an engagement!' so I called my mother and asked her. My mother, who knew all about the plan, said nothing that would hint towards an engagement being the reason for this trip, so I figured oh well, whatever, I'm still going to Paris! George did not propose the first night, or the 2nd so I had come to terms with the fact that it wasn't going to happen. The third night we were walking along the river, George started going down memory lane. As we approached the Eiffel Tower, he got down on one knee, pulled out a ring and proposed! Not only that, but he timed it perfectly so the proposal was exactly on the hour which is when the lights on the Eiffel Tower change from steady yellow to flickering white. It was the absolute perfect proposal from the absolute perfect guy."
Pics from the ceremony are up next!
