Fromt he bride, on how they met:

"I still remember that day. We were both in college and had common friends. At the time he was taking woodworking classes and he came down to where all our friends used to be and showed them his huge cut on his finger due to woodworking. Me being super silly and not knowing who he was squeezed his injured finger thinking he was lying (go figure). Then of course he cursed a little while I took him to the nurse's office and got some dressing and dressed his finger.. That day I never really thought that I would marry him but as he tells me NOW that he knew that day that he was going to marry me. I knew when he was the one after almost a year of dating, when he came to pick me up in the middle of nowhere just to make me feel better."

On the proposal:

"It was a hot, summer day and I was having one of my mood swings. He called me and told me to wear my blue dress and that he was coming to pick me up. Took me to the mall while I was complaining, took me out to lunch again while I was complaining and then took me to the park while listening to my complains. As we stood my this large brass bell.. he took out the ring and popped the question. At that moment, I forgot what I was complaining about and just took that moment in. And all of a sudden he points to a bush and there was a photographer standing, taking pictures of us (shout-out to "PHOTOKITCH").

On the lenghas:

"Well I had been researching my perfect lengha since I started dating him .. which was almost 7 years ago. At first I ONLY wanted a designer lehngha, so I ended up e-mailing Neeta Lulla, Shyamlal and Bhumika and Manish Malhotra..but then never really went through it. So then came our trip to India for wedding shopping. At that point I knew that I didn't want a red beat-out lehnga that everyone wears and I wanted couple of colours in my morning outfit. Tried on 10 lehngas and the 10th one was the most perfect lehnga I have seen! It was simply perfect! It was coral, yellow, orange with LOTS OF PEARLS on it (I LOVE PEARLS).

On the hair & makeup:

"I trusted my hair & makeup artist to the core! Did not do any trials and the look was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!"

That's some serious trust! Pre-wedding portraits are up next!
