Athens, GA Indian Wedding by R.A.G. Artistry

From the bride, on how they met:

"We began dating in 2003 as freshmen at The University of Georgia. We both loved football games, tailgates, and spending time with friends. Ronak prepared himself for dental school and I was ready to have my own classroom. After graduating, Ronak left for Memphis to attend The University of Tenneesee’s School of Dentistry and I began my master’s degree at UGA. As Ronak studied in Memphis, I set up my very first classroom and dedicated myself to helping my students. Upon completing my master’s degree, I began working on my doctorate, with aspirations of someday becoming a school administrator. Our love became long distance. Ronak graduated from dentistry school and found himself in Nashville, working at a highly regarded practice, and enjoying all that Nashville had to offer. We began to visit each other more often and realized that the feelings we had for each other could not be ignored. Ronak moved back to Atlanta and knew it was only a matter of time until he would propose!"

On the proposal:

"Our love story was literally newsworthy! On July 4th, 2013, after running 6.2 miles, Ronak proposed at the finish line of the Peachtree Road Race. Our story was covered in the Atlanta Journal Constitution the following day."

On the hair & makeup:

"Tame Style Bar in Athens was the perfect place for my bridesmaids and I to get ready in the morning. The staff was amazing to work with! They went above and beyond providing us with great service and a mimosa bar to get the party started. My make up artist Nalani with Beauty Bott was as equally amazing. She is so talented and made me feel glamorous!"
