It's finally time for us to see the newlyweds celebrate their union at the regal reception, thanks to Photographick Studios. First off, what could be a more perfect venue for a wedding reception than The Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner in Virginia?! The fabulous floral centerpeices as well as the flowers in the shape of butterflies are just some of the gorgeous details by L'Ambiance! Everything from the lighting to the lace tablecloths is breathtaking! Maharani Pooja along with her hubby, Kyle, looked perfect as can be during their first dance, as he gently dips her on the dancefloor. I hear Extra Hot DJs knew exactly how to get the guests out of their seats to join the adorable couple on the dancefloor! And, I'm so jealous I was not a guest because Moghul Caterers catered the event, and I'm sure the guests were treated to a delicious feast! My hat is off to Ace of Events for putting together a fabulous event from start to finish. I dunno about you ladies, but I'm going to relive every moment again in the gallery!
From the bride, on the first dance:
"We danced to, "A Simple Song," by the Shins. Kyle and I did long distance from Chicago to LA for 1.5 years, and we each (separately) heard the song on our own, and listened to it when we missed each other. One night I heard him listening to it, and I said 'how did you know I love that song??' And so we picked it for our first dance."
What she enjoyed most about planning:
"I really enjoyed planning out the ceremony and reception decor with my mom. It was so nice to bond over what we liked and when we saw things on the Internet, we would send them to each other. I think we drove our decorator crazy. I made multiple Pinterest boards and Powerpoints (to see which flowers go together best) for different types of wedding decor, followed different websites and Instagram accounts and spent countless days with my mom going over what we wanted everything to look like. Even now, I love looking at the decoration at different weddings - it's a great way to express yourself!"
