It's time for us to take a peek into some of the upcoming reception details. From some of the fashion to the floral and decor by Yanni Design Studio, we're whetting our appetites with a spectacular first look into this post-ceremony party. Today's Indian bride is dazzling in front of the lens as she strikes her best reception portrait poses for Laura Witherow Photography. Her royal blue and champagne lengha is out-of-this-world, and she's swapped her ceremony rubies for some breathtaking sapphire jewelry to complete this party look perfectly. Also, don't you just love the design on their whimsical wedding cake by the Oak Mill Bakery? The sweet little purple rosettes are a great way to tie in the color scheme from the event's other design details. Now that you've had a bit of a teaser into this reception, it's time to head into the gallery for a closer look at some of the other inspirational elements that came together to create this magical event.
The bride, on her wedding day style:
"I love peacocks. That is where my vision started. I wanted to stick to the purples, emerald greens, blues and GOLD!"
On what she enjoyed most about planning her dream wedding:
"Every piece of it. I actually REALLY enjoyed planning my wedding. I loved working with multiple vendors and putting on a event. (I do project management and operations for a living so it goes hand in hand)"
It's almost party time, Maharanis! Check back with me in a flash if you don't want to miss out on all of the fun!
