Greetings, girlies! Today, we are venturing off to Georgia for this wonderful South Indian wedding by the highly-talented FengLong Photography! Let's first take a sneak peak at the beautiful bride getting ready for her big day. I hear Maharani Meera gave full trust & control to the highly-skilled KC Makeup by Karuna Chani to do as the artist saw fit! What a huge compliment to the artist! And the end result is fabulous! Meera's traditional look accentuated by gold and brown eye-shadows, ruby red lipstick and long, luscious lashes all fit together flawlessly. And I adore the pulled-back hairstyle braided with a classic paranda. Her silky red & gold sari, by Shenaai Couture, perfectly catches the light on film. There's so much more greatness to come especially since KIS (cubed) Events organized the various events & details so the bride could breathe a little easier. You'll see all the passion in the planning, but for now, see even more getting ready images in the gallery!
From the bride, on how they met:
"I met my Raja at a professional networking social event. I know it sounds cliché, but I honestly knew from moment we met, it was a deeper connection than I had ever felt before!"
On choosing the bridal fashions:
"I looked at several designers on Indian websites, but ended up getting everything custom made by Shenaai Couture in NY, NY. They were so helpful, and really analyzed my tastes and style before they came up with my designs. I felt that their work was so original. They even scrambled 2 weeks before the wedding when there was an issue with one of the pieces and had it express shipped from India! Their customer service was really great."
On the hair & makeup:
"...Karuna is a sheer genius, I just let her work her magic."
Ceremony images are coming right up!
