This Kauai wedding was planned and designed by Mira Savara Events, one of the sweetest and most delightful vendors you could ever have the pleasure of working with! For today's South Indian bride, Mira went above and beyond the call of duty to turn her wedding day dreams into a tropical and romantic reality — and the lens savvy Jeannemarie Photography was there to capture it all just beautifully for us to draw inspiration from. Our Maharani chose the Kauai Marriott Resort as her gorgeous venue, and they played host to everything from her sangeet to her reception. IMF Visions was even there to capture some video highlights of it all! Check out the groom arriving via canoe, thanks to Royal Hawaiian Canoe, during his baraat procession. Can't get much more Hawaiian than that! And true to Tamil tradition, our bride arrives to her ceremony in a gorgeous orange and gold bridal sari — given to her by her parents. Her impeccably stunning hair and makeup by Mia Moriguchi is sheer perfection. During the beautiful and symbolic marriage rite, the groom's parents present her with another sari, in this case a pearlescent gold, champagne and blue beauty, which she then changes into for the remainder of her wedding. I just love the significance of that gesture. The stunning mandap, with a backdrop of lush, green coastline, is an incredible structure, and the floral and decor work by Steven Boyle Design brings in extra vibrancy and beauty to this unforgettable event.
