Jerome Tso Photography now guides us through the joyous Indian ceremony in Washington. Hats off to Occasions Wedding & Event Planning for planning and designing this wonderful wedding at The Golf Club at New Castle. I hear Neil knows a thing or two about golf, but let's not deviate from the moment at hand. Every single detail from the precious pink and purple fabric framing the mandap to the rich bouquets of white, pink and red flowers, by Decor N Design Inc, looks sensational! And I hear it was drizzling a bit on their wedding day, which you may or may not know, is a good sign that this union will last! See more of this momentous day in the gallery!
From the bride, on her most special moment:
"The best, most wonderful feeling, was being at the mandap sitting next to my prince during the actual wedding ceremony. There was a calmness about it all that made me feel like he and I were the only ones in the wedding tent. Having taking place in Seattle, it was no surprise that during the ceremony we were greeted with the pitter patter of raindrops, gently beating on the roof of the tent. It felt like a dream. All the rituals and mantras kept it sacred and walking around the fire for the pheras was so much fun!"
On the wedding style:
"I am absolutely obsessed with royal purple, and all my close friends and family know it! I definitely wanted to incorporate that color into my wedding, but to surprise everyone, I chose to save purple for the reception and do a fun contrast for the ceremony- so I chose rani pink and emerald green for my wedding sari, and took it from there...my bridesmaids got to glisten in elegant purple saris during the ceremony, and then I used pink and purple accents wherever I could- including a rani pink aisle runner, shimmery baby pink wedding programs, and a pink and purple backdrop with matching flowers."
On the venue:
"Being from Seattle, we chose to have our ceremony at a golf club to show off the beautiful greenery of the state of Washington. It was perfect given that my groom is an avid golfer! Although we were keeping our fingers crossed for a dry day, we were blessed with a light drizzle during the baraat ceremony, but it ended up making the whole day feel like a magical dream."
