We all know that fabulous floral & decor serves as the centerpiece for the most awe-inspiring receptions and Sonal and Harjot's post-wedding bash is no exception, all thanks to Design House Decor! Feast your eyes on the gorgeous photos by Salwa Photography that showcase the fairy tale-themed reception decor at the Cipriani ballroom in New York! I must start with the precious sweetheart stage which looks quite feminine and romantic! I adore the cream, pink and lavender color scheme. The floral centerpieces dripping in crystals make the entire space come alive. Speaking of coming to life, the stunning peacock cake topper on the wedding cake — by Buttercooky Bakery, looks quite realistic! For a second there, I thought a real peacock flew on top of that cake! There's a lot more to come with this reception, but for now, check out the gallery for even more decor inspiration!
From the bride, on the reception:
"Our reception was held the following evening in the elegant ballroom of Cipriani’s in New York. Design House once again transformed the ballroom into a dream world with a fairy tale theme as a backdrop. Our caterers for the event were Cipriani’s as well as Bukhara Grill who had set up countless food stations each with a particular theme. Our wedding cake was a bedazzled peacock themed cake created by Buttercooky Bakery in Floral Park, NY. Mr. Roger Lipson and his team played live classical music on a tabla and sitar during the cocktail hour. DJ Raj Minocha from DJ Sunny Entertainment had all our guests partying hard and dancing the night away. Our photographers to capture the entire reception were the dynamic duo Anna and Simon Salwa from Salwa Photography. Cinematography was provided by Jas Motion. We also had an amazing bhangra performance by the AEG Team of NY. Overall our wedding festivities were memorable and everything that Harjot and I had dreamed of and more. Throughout it all my most memorable part was taking the Lavaan during the Anand Karaj during the Sikh marriage ceremony and taking the Saat Phere around the fire during the Hindu ceremony. That to me is the ultimate symbol of purity, commitment and the union of two different people and cultures into one."
See the couple celebrate at the reception, next!
