Ladies, it's time to see the dual Hindu-Christian ceremonies that take place at the wondrous family-owned estate, Wente Vineyards, in California - courtesy of Wedding Documentary Photography & Videography! I hear it was a very hot, summer day, but you can't tell that by the groom's excited face as he dashes in on his dynamic horse by the masters of arriving in style - the Vintage Carriage Company! And get this! See the gorgeous mandap, all pretty in pink? Puja's thoughtful dad designed it! That's so awesome! And how cute is it that her doting uncle literally carries her down the aisle?! Maharaja Delaney could not look more ecstatic as they walk hand-in-hand as newlyweds! Next, we move on to the quaint Christian ceremony. The luscious bouquets filled with fuchsia, purple, blue, red and yellow flowers by The Flower House are so vibrant! Maharani Puja's flowing, white wedding dress looks pristine in the sunlight. I hear that by this time, it was extremely hot out, so they started quickly with the ceremony to keep their guests from sitting under the blazing sun for too long. Despite the hot temperatures, both the Hindu and Christian ceremonies look like they went off without a hitch! See even more from this big day in the gallery!
From the bride, on the wedding style:
"Our trip to India was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, though the most stressful as well. We spent two weeks in India trying to pick out outfits, jewelry, decor, etc. for all the events we had planned. This was my husband's first time in India -- seeing him in a new, and very different, environment was so awesome. He fit right in, as much as a 6'3'' white man from America would be able to, of course!"
On a special moment:
"Walking out to the Hindu ceremony, seeing the beautiful mandap that I had dreamed of finally a reality and my Raja standing behind the Antarpat -- at that moment, I realized that everything we had spent the last year planning was finally happening and in the most perfect way ever. It was everything that I had envisioned and more and could not have been any more perfect."
Images from the lively reception are right around the corner!
