To keep you from having a mid-week meltdown, we're bringing you a tropical, South Asian wedding delight! This destination sensation is sure to give you the perfect pick-me-up if you're having trouble getting over the Wednesday hump. Let's start off with some fabulously fun, pre-wedding moments from today's bride and groom's Caribbean wedding event. The bride is all dolled up for her Pithi by the world-class Iberostar Salon at the Iberostar Hotel and Resorts Rose Hall Suites — which is also hosting her multi-day celebration of love. Thanks to MnMfoto, we get a first row seat to the affair of a lifetime, from the comfort of our computer screens! These spectacular snapshots of the night highlight some of the most memorable moments. The bride is party-perfect in her green and gold lengha, and the tabletops and decor are splendidly spot on to her vision, thanks to Tai Flora. This Maharani and her hubby-to-be even had the venue bring in Kaivan, a reggae band, to spread even more of the lively, island vibes and give partygoers the most appropriate music to move to! The bride on how she met her Raja:

"We have known each other since a young age. My brothers used to always go to his house and our parents were great friends. We always saw each other at the prayer hall and had classes together where we hung out. After we all graduated high school and went to college, we lost touch, but as soon as we came back we all started hanging out again. His joking personality and always making me smile made me love him even more."

On the romantic proposal:

"I have a few great memories from my proposal. We had a romantic dinner, watched a slide show with pictures of us throughout the years and then he proposed in a suite, on the rooftop of the Joule Hotel in Dallas. He also planned an engagement party right after the proposal and got all my friends from Austin and Houston and my brother from New York to come down to surprise me at the restaurant. I was in shock and felt so happy that everyone was there to celebrate the moment with me."

On her pre-wedding style:

"For the Pithi I wore a green and gold lengha and for the décor I chose bright flowers, candles, and lanterns. We wanted to make the Pithi traditional and fun so we had a traditional ceremony, dinner, and a reggae band for entertainment. While the reggae band performed, we had other activities which included a bonfire for s'mores, glow sticks, frisbees, coconuts, couches to relax and of course a dance area to dance the night away! It was great seeing everyone dancing and enjoying all of the activities."
