Stop whatever it is you are doing and take a moment to look at this beautiful bride getting ready for her Indian wedding in Concord, California! JSK Photography shows us all the fabulous makeup and accessories for the big day! Our Maharani is vivacious in gold-toned eye shadows, fluttering lashes and a bright, matte red lip stain, all courtesy of Singar Studio—from which Leena Bajaj provided the artistic mehndi design. This lady in red turned to Kalki Fashion for her gorgeous lengha sari that you will soon see more of in the ceremony—planned and designed by Ajooba Events! Vintage Carriage Company will be doing the baraat honors, but until more is revealed, tour the gallery for tons of great beauty inspiration!
From the bride, on the proposal:
"What was supposed to be a touristy day in San Francisco with family from out of town, turned into the (second) best day ever (first best is the wedding day, of course). It started with the usual sites of SF, Treasure Island, Crooked St., Pier 39, and we decided to wind up the day with the infamous view of the Golden Gate Bridge. We went to the Vista point near Sausalito. It couldn't have been a more beautiful, fog-free view as the sun was setting. Ashar's cousins suddenly had to "take a phone call" so Ashar and I stood there alone, admiring the beauty of the bridge and the city behind it. The next thing I knew he was on one knee. Before he could even get the words out, "will you marry me?" I burst into tears. We heard a loud cheer, and saw that some of our family and friends were hiding in the background the entire time. The location could not have been more perfect since San Francisco is where I grew up, and where we met. It felt so surreal to actually be engaged to my best friend and soulmate."
Baraat and ceremony shots are up next!
