From the bride, on how they met:
" Ian and I met at a New York Hospital where he was a counselor and I was a counseling intern. On my very first day, a peer introduced us. I remember thinking, he has the most gorgeous eyes, and oh my he's brazenly flirting with me. We were a few days shy of dating for two months. That night Ian literally took me by the hand and ran several blocks to Prospect Park to catch the last minutes of a Kailash Kher performance. We were incredibly happy, so much had occurred during those two months of getting to know each other, I adored him. That night my heart was full, I knew then he was that person I never wanted to be without."
On the hair and makeup:
"Abby Falore-Ayodeji of Juicy Looks was my hair and makeup artist. I had a some ideas of what I wanted but was torn with wanting a glamorous look to accompany my ceremony Anarkali and a toned down look for my white bridal gown. Abby worked her magic and gave me a look that worked beautiful with each gown."
On the lenghas:
"Ours was a multicultural, interfaith wedding and as a result I had two bridal outfits. I enlisted the help of my sister, my four year old niece and my husband to be. I chose my anarkali for it's simplicity, comfort and beautiful design. I loved the mild pink tones and the contrast of the stunning silver toned workings. The piece was designed and tailored to my request. We absolutely loved the veil which was made to compliment the anarkali."
The ceremony shots are still ahead!
