Dearborn, MI Indian Wedding by Beaded Elephant (FKA Jobst Media)

Beaded Elephant (FKA Jobst Media) grants us VIP access into the reception celebration at the The Henry Hotel in Dearborn, Michigan! With Bellisario Florist on floral, and Colonial Events on decor, it's no surprise that this ballroom is filled with elegance and class. Tables are lined with sparkling linens, and atop each one, is a lavish centerpiece full of rich, cream-colored flowers. I love the added touch of a floral bow accessory on the back of each chair! Every detail is so très chic! Our lovebirds make their grand entrance in their vibrant fashion ensembles, and celebrate with loved ones through the wee hours of the night! See more of this Blissful Weddings and Events- planned event, including the sangeet, in the gallery!

Dearborn, MI Indian Wedding by Beaded Elephant (FKA Jobst Media)

Feast your eyes on the bridal fashions at this fabulous photo shoot in Dearborn, Michigan! This bunch is dressed for success! The groomsmen show off their style in light blue sherwanis, while our blushing bridesmaids make a bold statement in coral saris.  And, now to the couple of the hour! Our groom is looking dapper in his champagne-colored ensemble, which pops with a ruby sash. He looks cool as a cucumber standing alongside his bride, who rocks a colorful lengha choli! Luscious shades of pinks and corals complement her tan-olive skin tone. This dashing duo kicks it up a notch in their reception attire. Mitesh is working it in a tailored black suit, while the queen of his heart cuts a rug in a vibrant fuchsia and green gown! I adore her elegant side do, styled by Renata Makeup! From the bride, on the wedding style:

"Most brides have a theme and style all planned out years before they decide on getting married. I was always a girl who liked the classic look that never went out of style, so I decided that would be the color theme of the reception—gold, crystal, and ivory."

On family and friends helping:

"All my friends and family helped out in every way, but the wedding would not have been possible without my mom and all her bountiful ideas, impeccable taste, and incredible attention to detail to make the wedding a huge success."

On a special moment:

"I think the absolute most magical part of my wedding was that everyone that we loved and cared about from childhood to present day was together in one room to share the special day with us."

Portraits are still ahead!

Dearborn, MI Indian Wedding by Beaded Elephant (FKA Jobst Media)

It's off to Dearborn, Michigan for this tremendous Indian wedding, planned by Blissful Weddings and Events! Thanks to Beaded Elephant (FKA Jobst Media), we get to see the beautiful bride getting all dolled up for her big day! Our Maharani is all aglow as beauty artist—Renata Makeup puts her in shimmering golden-bronze eye shadows along with a frosted mauve lipstick. Reena's delicate feet are decorated with a marvelous mehndi design, courtesy of Ekta Kansara. I am loving the traditional, gold jewels Reena chooses to accessorize with her lovely lengha choli! Wait until you see her at the ceremony, but until then, check out the gallery for more hair and makeup tips!

From the bride, on how they met:

"I met Mitesh while were were in a softball summer league. We played each other one day on separate teams and we started talking after the game. He thinks I was impressed by his softball skills, but really I fell in love with his gentle soul."

On the proposal:

I was living in Michigan and my husband was living in Chicago during our 3 years of dating. I came to visit him in Chicago one weekend in August and he told me that he had a volleyball tournament planned on a Saturday morning. Instead of taking me to the beach to play, he drove me to a nearby neighborhood. He said he wanted to go grab food before we went to play so we walked a few blocks then happened to come to the same softball field where we first met 4 years ago. At first, I had no idea where we were but it finally hit me when I looked around. Soon after I realized where I was, he got down on one knee and he proposed to me. Right after I said yes, one by one, our friends and family came out of hiding behind the trees.  My thoughtful husband decided to replicate the same game we were playing on the day we first met! He had duplicated our team shirts from our original softball team, so we split up our friends and played a full game of softball just like we did when we first met. It was such an amazing day!"

The nuptials are coming up!
