The swanky InterContinental Dallas in Texas serves as the ideal venue for Neha and Anand's regal reception! Because the Indian ceremony took place during Thanksgiving weekend, our thoughtful bride wanted to go with a mostly orange and green theme, which Weddings by Farah brings to life through breathtaking floral and decor. The sweetheart stage sparkles to perfection—covered in sheer, glittering drapes, and all the floral centerpieces are vibrant and so festive! Lin & Jirsa Photography captures all the fun-filled moments, from the sensational setting to the first dance! From the bride, on the reception:

"For the reception, we tied back the Thanksgiving theme. Anand and I both wore green. Our tablecloths were we chose a Thanksgiving orange and our centerpieces were tall and short vases with thanksgiving floral. Our stage had green moss with beautiful golds, white roses, and gorgeous crystal chandeliers. For the personal touch, we had sings on all the tables to get our guests to play an "I Spy Game." Also, we had a culinary fruit carver carve beautiful fruit bouquets, with watermelons with our names on them."

On the first dance:

"When we were in high school, our song was KC and JoJo "All My Life." This song encompasses how we feel about each other and our relationship. Because both of us wanted our first dance to be more intimate, we actually had our first dance in the bridal suite right before we walked into the ballroom. It was just Anand and me and a few of our closest friends. It was magical. When we did our first dance in front of our guests, we only did about 45 seconds and wanted to have a wow factor so we had silver fountains go off at the end. The crowd LOVED it."

On the cake:

"As you can tell, our groom's cake was a "Friends" themed cake. Anand and I love the Friends TV show and somehow it comes up in our daily conversation. I surprised Anand with this Friends Themed cake. Not only did it look good, but it tasted heavenly. For my bridal cake, I wanted something more contemporary with gold and black. Thanks to Pinterest, I got the idea of the square shaped black/gold/white cake. I ordered the topper of off Etsy.com which I think added a nice touch to finish off an already beautiful cake. Our flavors were Red Velvet and Italian Creme Cake."

Hope you enjoyed this wedding as much as I did!
