The bride, on how she met the Raja of her dreams:

"We actually met online and in the process of getting to know each other a little bit more, we realized that we had a few mutual friends. It didn't take me too long to realize that that he was exactly what I was looking for my whole life. He was sweet, caring, smart, funny and just wholesome. A few months after we started dating, we met each other's family. After meeting his family, I got a better understanding of who he was, his values and his priorities. It was also at that time that I realized that I could not live without him."

On her groom's memorabl proposal:

"Larry and I had a long distance relationship towards the beginning of out relationship. He was doing his fellowship in Dallas and I was working in Houston. As a part of his graduation celebration, him and his colleagues wanted to go out for dinner and he made sure that I came to Dallas to partake in it. While I was getting ready for the diner he repeatedly asked me not to make any plans for next weekend in Houston and that we're going out for something special. After the third time he mentioned it, I suspected that he may be planning to propose. So I get ready and go to dinner with him. After the dinner, when we came back, the apartment was filled with flowers and candles - which was decorated by his friends who snuck in while we were out. I was stunned and I stood there at the door not knowing what's going on. He held my hand and led me towards the corner of the room where there was a table with flowers and pictures. On the table was this scrap book full of pictures of our time together and drawings (more like doodles) of us. On the last page he wrote, this is the first and only time for me to be truly happy, Sunitha will you marry me. I looked up at him and I saw him on his knee with the ring in his hand. I teared up and I said I cant wait to marry you"

On her wedding style:

"Our wedding was in spring so I knew I wanted it to be colorful, yet soft and romantic. I started with a specific palette of colors, which was rather difficult to stick to as I kept changing my mind about my colors. But I took my time with it and made the right decision and went with a palette consisting of shades of pink and gold."
