Happy Monday, Maharanis! Today we're changing the pace a bit with a look at two pre-wedding celebrations! Don't worry though, you'll still get to see the ceremony — you'll just have to wait until a bit later, but it's so worth it. Nadia D. Photography captured these spectacular images from the unforgettable three-day wedding event, and to kick things off, we're at the home of today's Sikh bride, Sumeet, for a traditional mehndi night affair that is going to totally brighten your day! The entrance to this at-home event was lit decoratively and set the tone for what lay ahead for partygoers inside. The bride, dressed in a bright yellow and pink lengha, did her own hair and makeup superbly and her hands and feet were decorated in the most magnificent mehndi designs we ever did see. The pre-wedding decor was a party of vivid hues from vibrant greens to red oranges, and the ceiling was draped in hot pink fabric with gold stars that mimicked a surreal night sky. This is just the first stop on this pre-wedding celebration train, and in just a bit, we'll check out an extraordinary sangeet night featuring floral and decor work from wedding dream team, Design House Decor, and a bridal makeup look by expert artist, KC Makeup by Karuna Chani. Before we move ahead to all those exciting details, make sure to visit the gallery for even more from this incredible mehndi night!

The bride, on her mehndi night style;

"The Mehndi was suppose to be colorful, but that function was at my house so we did pink and orange in different shades and also threw in yellow as my outfit was yellow, and kept all gold furniture to tie it all in. Overall the overall looks were to be graceful, royal and sophisticated. I wanted to make sure I looked different at each event."

Don't move a muscle, Maharanis! I'll be back in a flash with a sensational sangeet night you won't want to miss!
