From the bride, on how they met:

How did you meet your Raja and when did you know he was "the one"?
"We were introduced to each other by mutual friends at Keeneland horse racing park in Lexington, Kentucky. That day Daniel thought he was going on a blind date and she thought she was just meeting friends at the horse track. That day we bet on horses and discussed life’s mysteries. We started off as friends, even though we both knew that we had an instant connection. As our friendship grew into dating we learned that we had more in common by our love of nature and hiking, being vegetarian, cooking, the arts, yoga, and spirituality. As a couple we had many similar interests including both of us attending Xavier university where we received our Master’s degrees and have completed our yoga teacher training."

On the hair and makeup:

"I had several ideas about what I wanted to do for my look for the different events and it really helped working with the stylist on narrowing down the choices on what would look best."

On a special moment:

"There were many moments that were truly special to me. I felt like a princess when I was getting my mehendhi done and my niece Anjali was feeding me and watching all the performances from my throne."

The first look photo shoot is up next!
