Happy hump day, my pretties! We're digging into another incredible Indian wedding event today that's sure to help you get through the mid-week woes. The Philadelphia Marriott Downtown is hosting today's amazing affair, and we're starting things off with a look at our Indian bride, Melissa, as she gets ready for her big walk down the aisle! She's enlisted Pandya Photography to capture all the most important and memorable highlights from her dream day, and this collection of images is proof that the talented photographers did just that. We are loving Maharani Melissa's gold jewelry set and her champagne-colored bridal lengha is simply to die for! While she and her hubby-to-be continue to put the finishing touches on their ceremony looks, Abhishek Decorators is finalizing the fabulous floral and decor details for their highly-anticipated vow exchange, but before we can get to all of those heart-melting moments, we'll be getting an exclusive look at the happy couple as they unveil their wedding day wears to one another at their first look portrait session — which we're also looking forward to seeing in the highlight reel created by Joie Elie Photography & Cinematography! For now, why don't you make your way into the complete gallery for more getting ready moments, and maybe take a peek at what's to come!

The bride, on how she met the Raja of her dreams:

"Amit & I met in 2005, in California, at a Garba. Over the years, it was difficult to keep in touch with the long distance (Amit lived in Chicago & I lived in Philadelphia), but in December of 2010, he decided to reach out to me again. Online conversations led to texting which turned into late night phone calls and eventually Amit decided it was time to visit me in Philadelphia."

On the super romantic proposal:

"Amit had been so busy studying for his medical board exam that it was a complete surprise when he showed up waiting for me outside of my MBA class! He pulled out a scrapbook that he had made and after going through all of the pictures, he flipped to the last page, where he surprised me with a trip to Myrtle Beach!
He made me believe that this was all for my birthday, so I didn't understand why he was on edge about our flight being delayed and the weather forecast showing rain. Soon enough, when we arrived, I found out that he had reserved a private boat for us. After spending the day on the water, he gifted me with a new dress and jewelry (matching!!) to wear to dinner!
Before dinner, we went to the beach to take some pictures, when all of the sudden Amit dropped down on one knee and proposed! I was completely shocked! Without my knowing, he had hired a professional photographer to hide and capture this special moment. As if that wasn't already enough, he hired a private chef who had set up a romantic dinner on the beach!
By this point, I was lost on cloud nine, but the icing on the cake was when my parents, Amit's parents, and my brother showed up on the beach to join in the excitement! It was a dream come true!"

Don't miss out on the rest of this incredible love story, Maharanis! We'll be brining you even more details from the entire event all day long, so check back often!
