It's time for Maharani Melissa to reveal her bridal look to her hubby-to-be, Raja Amit, and the fabulous photography team from Pandya Photography is there to capture each and every sensational second of the memorable occasion! Our Indian bride is as adorable as can be, and her hair and makeup are looking picture perfect in each and every frame, thanks to the beauty experts from The Touch of Dimple. Her updo is flawless, and we love how her tikka impeccably adorns her like a crown. The smile on her face upon seeing her Raja is absolutely priceless. We're suckers for happiness, and this first look session is all things happy! In just a bit, we'll be getting into some details and highlights from the wedding ceremony, which are going to inspire you beyond belief, but before we revel in all of those spectacular details, make sure to visit the full gallery for even more from this portrait session!

The bride, on choosing her dream wedding lengha(s):

"I definitely started by looking on the internet, but I also had an idea of what I wanted since I had been in India the year before shopping for my engagement outfit. I shopped for all of my wedding outfits in Mumbai (Garba outfit: Friendship in Santa Cruz, Sangeet outfit: Queens in Marine Lines, and Wedding outfit: Roopkala in Marine Lines). For my Reception outfit, I worked with a boutique designer (Banjaran) in Borivali West."

On her ceremony hair and makeup:

"My hair and makeup stylist flew in from Toronto for my Wedding. Since there was the distance, the trial was key. I worked with her to come up with different styles for each of the functions that suited me and also complemented my outfits. I went for more of an 80's style (think "Om Shanti Om") with my hair up. For the Wedding, I wanted a DevDas style look that was classy & elegant and worked well with all of the gold"

It's almost time for the main event, ladies! Sit tight and we'll be right back!
