All Dolled up by Lulu, our marvelous Maharani unveils herself to her groom-to-be in a romantic outdoor first look photo shoot—courtesy of Shandro Photo! Jaskreet looks exquisite in shimmering chocolate-gold eye shadows and a matte lip! Her partner in crime, Harjot, is the perfect complement in a baroque-esque patterned sherwani! And let's not overlook the bridesmaids who are delightful in their anarkali gowns, carrying darling bouquets by Fabloomosity! Then it's off to the Gurudwara Nanaksar Sahib in Canada for the traditional Sikh wedding, meticulously planned by Dress My Day! The long train of our Maharani's salwar kameez looks so dramatic as she does her proverbial walk down the aisle! And wow, this ceremony is so full of color with each guest dressed in a different shade of the rainbow! See even more colorful highlights in the gallery!
From the bride, on the wedding style:
"Well my wedding wasn't just about my style but it was a family event so whoever had a good idea we went with it. My mom and dad wanted a more traditional wedding so they made it happen with all the traditions to the point of where my dad putting a phulkari chunni draped around me during my dholi and I had all my brothers carry me in a traditional dholi."
On a special moment:
"The entire wedding was so magical but if I had to pick, it was when I got on the horse and carriage before I entered the Gurdawara and rode that short distance on the carriage with my dad. I always say I am the Johal's princess hence the horse and carriage but in that moment, I was just my dad's little "laddo rani" and it was a perfect moment and off course it was freezing then so it's kind of hard to forget but my dad squeezed me super tight to keep me warm haha."
The reception photo shoot is coming up!
